Our Methodology

Last Updated: July 16, 2026

Investozora News reports on U.S. banking, stock market, and mortgage developments. Every article follows the same sourcing and verification methodology described here, so any fact published on this site can be checked against the same sources we used.

Primary Sources

For banking coverage, we use bank and credit union disclosures, FDIC data, and Federal Reserve data on deposit and rate trends. For stock market coverage, we use company SEC filings, official earnings releases, investor-relations pages, and licensed market data providers. For mortgage coverage, we use Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey, relevant federal housing data, and lender disclosures.

We do not use unverified social media claims, anonymous forum posts, or unsourced aggregator content as primary sources. When a company or data provider publishes a release, we read the original release, confirm the specific figures, and then write our explanation.

Verification Process

Every article follows a three-step process. First, source confirmation: every claim, rate, or figure is checked against the specific filing, release, or data source it came from. Second, currency check: because markets move quickly, figures are confirmed as current as of publication and the reporting period is stated clearly. Third, editorial review: the editor reviews every article for accuracy and consistency before it goes live.

Relationship to Investozora

Where a story has a genuine federal-policy dimension, such as how a Federal Reserve rate decision affects mortgage rates, Investozora News reports the consumer-facing consequence and, where relevant, links to the deeper policy explainer on Investozora.com, our sister publication covering U.S. government financial systems. The two publications maintain separate reporting and separate editorial judgment on every shared event.

Corrections and Updates

Market prices, mortgage rates, and bank terms change frequently. Investozora News updates published articles as soon as new verified information becomes available, with a clear notation of what changed and when. Report a potential error to editorial@investozoranews.com.

Editorial Transparency

Investozora News delivers fast, verified U.S. financial news covering banking, stock markets, and mortgages. Every story is sourced from company filings, regulatory data, and verified market information, then fact-checked before publication, reported clearly and honestly for everyday American readers and investors.
